Edgewater, Miami

Aurea Residences — private waterfront living on Biscayne Bay, Miami.

The Vision

52 waterfront residences on Biscayne Bay, Edgewater, Miami. A tower cut to the shoreline, drawn from the morning light, set at the height a building should sit when the water is the thing it answers to.

Aurea Residences delivers private waterfront homes in Edgewater, Miami — three-bedroom, four-bedroom, and full-floor penthouse residences from the 12th to the 52nd floor, each with direct bay views and wraparound terraces.

Twelve-foot ceilings. Floors that hold the warmth of the sun until evening. Floor-to-ceiling glass opens every residence to the breeze off the water. Each room is drawn around the view it was built to frame.

The terrace is where the thinking happens. The bay is how you tell the time. The day ends with the pool level with the horizon, and nothing between you and the sky.

Speedboat crossing Biscayne Bay with downtown Miami towers beyond
Bayfront park with palm trees and waterfront walkway

Five minutes on foot. Seventy galleries, murals that change with the season, rooms like KYU where the wood-fire does the talking. Walk in without a reservation. Order the brisket. Stay until the lights come on.

Ten minutes by bike. Louis Vuitton and Cartier set into public sculpture. Dining rooms drawn by the same architects who built the galleries above them. You arrive for the windows. You stay for the long lunches.

Biscayne Bay is the front garden. Paddleboard at dawn before the wind comes up. Kayak across to Monument Island. Watch dolphins break the surface at golden hour. The Venetian Islands sit in the middle distance. Miami Beach beyond. A view that rewards the second look more than the first.

Eight acres of bayfront green looking out at the Venetian Islands. Tennis, volleyball, sunset yoga on the grass. The dog park where half the neighbourhood has met by six. Golden hour is the busy hour, and you'll know why the first time you're in it.
